The Harwich Central Cafe is a community place, and the community is right here in Harwich. The community is also Cape Cod and Massachusetts. The community is also the world. People from all over come to Cape Cod and Harwich Central Cafe wants everyone who visits us to feel welcome and at home.
Accessible to All
We have a long history working with the disabled extending all the way to the University of California at Berkley and we have done evrything we can to ensure The Harwich Central Cafe is accessible to all. We've included a beautiful ramp, wide doorway, and a roomy floor plan.
Historic Location
The Greek Revival building that is home to Harwich central cafe was built in
1830 with high cielings and large 12-paned windows, most with the original wavy
glass
panes. The floors are original too, built with random-width pine that is warm
and red with age. We've resurfaced the lathe and plaster walls to create a welcome
and bright atmosphere.
